Looking for a delicious snack, but craving something sweet and salty?

Here are the ingredients for chocolate-covered pretzel cupcakes featuring a salted chocolate frosting.

Cupcakes Ingredients

1/4 cup semi-sweet chocolate
1 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp tsp salt
2 eggs
3/4 cup sugar
3/8 cup (3/4 of a stick) unsalted butter, at room temperature
1 1/4 cup buttermilk
1 tsp vanilla
Frosting Ingredients
1 3/4 sticks unsalted butter, at room temperature
2 1/2 cups confectioners sugar
7 oz semi-sweet chocolate, melted
1 tbsp unsweetened cocoa
3 tbsp cream
2 tsp salt
Chocolate Pretzel Ingredients
3 oz semisweet chocolate
1 tsp shortening
18-20 pretzels
Additional pretzels can be added to the finished project.
